Workshop Terms & Conditions
Accessibility - All our workshops will take place on the first floor of 86 Sheep Street. The classroom is accessed via a fairly steep spiral staircase which is not suitable for all. The staircase is fitted with handrails but please check that you are able to manage the accent prior to booking.
Car Parking - Franklins Yard Car Park on Sheep Street is only short stay (up to 3 hours) so for longer workshops you will need to use the Cattle Market Car Park in Victoria Road. If you are bringing a Sewing Machine to a course then we suggest that you drop off the machine before you go to the Car Park – we will take it upstairs for you!
All workshop places are booked on a 1st come, 1st served basis.
Workshops must be paid for in full at time of booking.
In the event that we have to cancel a workshop we will give as much notice as possible and offer a full refund or a place on alternative class
If you need to cancel your reservation, we require a minimum of 14 days notice in order for you to receive a refund (less £3 administration charge). If you are unable to give 14 days notice, no refund can be given but a place on alternative course will be offered
Full details of requirements for the workshop will be sent two weeks before the start date. Materials are not included unless stated otherwise.
For those of you new to patchwork / sewing, we have a few sewing machines available to hire. The cost is £4.00 per am or pm session or £7.50 for full day. Use of Cutting mat & Rotary cutters is included in this cost. Basic usage instructions will be given before the workshop starts. Machines and blades are used at your own risk.
Tea, Coffee and Soft Drinks are available free of charge. If you are attending a full day course please bring your own lunch with you.
